Notes on building in public

What "in public" has meant for me, without turning into a performative content treadmill.

Building in public is not a requirement for good work. It is a trade: visibility and feedback in exchange for context-switching and the risk of overfitting to an audience.

Why show work at all

Sharing progress helps me think out loud, catch blind spots, and find people who care about the same problems. The goal is not reach; it is clarity and connection.

Boundaries that help

Decide what is off the record: strategy, people, or anything still fragile. I keep a short list and stick to it so posting stays sustainable.

Cadence

Small, honest updates beat grand announcements. A rhythm you can keep for a year beats a burst you abandon in a month.
